| I rembember when I was a district leader in Muskegon and I was on a trade off with some of the elders in the Zone. I had been hearing about this nice old lady who had been procrastinating making any decisions on the church. We went to her house and taught her a discussion. We asked her to attend church and she declined. At that moment I suggested that the other Elder and I sing her a song. We sang "Love one Another". The spirit filled the room and after the song I shared my testimony to her of the restored gospel and the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, then the other Elder backed up my witness with his own testimony. After that we invited her again to church. She accepted our invitation and came. I was transfered to a different part of the state very soon after that and never knew if she got baptized. But after that day I never forgot the power of the Hymns. |
